Nick received his Master’s degree in photojournalism from the prestigious University of Missouri School of Journalism and he continues to be a passionate student of light, moment, personality, nature and aesthetic. Nick brings the watchful eye of a journalist, the elegeance of a portraitist and the vision of an artist to all of his work. Nick is in high demand for his commercial, editorial, fine art and portrait work. Nick’s images have won many national awards and he currently serves on the advisory board of the Art Institute of Salt Lake and the local board of the American Society of Media Photographers. He is also well-regarded for his fine art equine work. Nick’s “photopaintings” blend the realism and honest moments of traditional photography with the freedom and aesthetics of the fine art traditions. Final images range from subtlety impressionistic to boldly modern. His work is represented by a number of galleries and his photopaintings hang in personal collections in the United States and Europe.
