Nick Sokoloff is a Salt Lake City based commercial photographer, in high demand for his commercial, editorial, healthcare and food photography. Nick specializes in expertly crafted environmental and location portraits and lifestyle photography. Nick earned his Master’s degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and he continues to be a passionate student of light, moment, personality, nature and aesthetic. Nick’s background in journalism keeps him light on his feet, while his dedication to craft keeps him focused and efficient. Nick’s attention to detail and open communication style make him a favorite with art directors and marketing gurus. Nick has have won many national awards and has served on the advisory board of the Art Institute of Salt Lake and the local board of the American Society of Media Photographers. Nick’s fine art work is represented by a number of galleries and his equine photopaintings hang in personal collections in the United States and Europe. His current personal project, The New Americans, is currently on exhibit at Salt Lake City Hall and on building banners around town.
